ECC is a leading Norwegian company, 100% government owned, specializing in digital maritime navigation solutions. Established to enhance safety and efficiency at sea, air and on land, we provide state-of-the-art services that give customers quality chart backgrounds and efficient visualisation for demanding operational environments.
The company
Initially a part of the Norwegian Mapping Authority, ECC was established as its own corporation in 1999. Since then we have grown to over 26 employees, providing cutting-edge geographical information systems (GIS) technology, applications and solutions to our customers. Currently we also play an important role in the development and testing of the new IHO S-100 chart standard and associated S-100 data products
